In addition to the desktop, mobile, and web apps, Mathpix offers a browser extension and a command-line tool.

The Mathpix Snip Chrome Extension uploads a PDF in your browser to your Snip collection instantly. It has special handling for arxiv.org, including automatic naming, metadata extraction, and duplication detection.

The Mathpix CLI is for scripting and automation. Convert documents and images from the terminal, integrate Snip into build pipelines, or batch-process files.

The Solver capabilities reference documents what the Snip Solver computes — arrays, integrals, matrices, equations, limits, derivatives, and more — with LaTeX inputs and example outputs. Solver is available in Mathpix Snip Web and the iOS and Android apps.
